Conductor
Patty Irwin is a Brooklyn-Based Conductor. In 2024, she founded and continues to Music Direct the Da Capo Choir. Since it's inception, Patty has conducted Da Capo in its three annual concerts, premiered over a dozen World and New York premieres, and recorded in the studio with several independent artists. Da Capo is a non-profit 501(C)(7) organization.
In 2025, Patty was selected as a conductor participant in the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra's Conductor Training Program with Girls Who Conduct where she studied under Maestro Marzena Diakun and Maestro Chaowen Ting. Also in 2025, Patty was selected as a Music Director/Conductor in Maestra's August 2025 'First Takes" reading.
Patty studied conducting with Dr. Randi Von Ellefson at Oklahoma City University. She is a proud member of NATS, the New York Choral Consortium, Maestra, and Local 802 AFM.
